Happy cook 7/7/22
I quit my job.... Well I sort of walked out but I told my executive chef I wasn't coming back. Hears the truth I had been unhappy since the first month started but I stayed at that job for 2 years, Why did I stay? I don't really know. well I do know the real question is why did it take me so long to leave. the hold this country club had on me was strong huh? lol I'm being dramatic. I think I enjoyed the money I was getting. But at the same time they were so disrespectful. Like formal how is everyone in management assholes? anyways my executive chef put in his two weeks but also told me he was not going to be working those last two weeks.... makes sense huh. SO if I stayed I would have been screwed and if I left.. well... money less lol. SO I left too. Now my executive could have told me he was leaving earlier but it respect him for not leaving without talking to me. I do not feel bad for walking out anymore.
